Daily Diary: May 14 – Hot Days, Cool Meals, and Circadian Flow ☀️🔥

Another hot one today—88°F and sunny from the start. With the temps climbing, I focused on hydration, light exposure early, and meals that were prepped and easy to reheat or grab cold when needed. Here's how the day played out:

Breakfast 🍳🌱

  • Banquet Maple Sausage (3 links ~150g)

  • Spring Greens (sautéed, 15g)

  • L. Reuteri Yogurt (1/2 cup, 120g)

  • Orchard Kraut (2 tbsp, 30g)

  • Macros: 28g Protein | 10g Carbs | 25g Fat

Lunch 🥩🍠

  • Ground Beef (6 oz/170g)

  • Sweet Potato (1/2 medium, 60g)

  • Avocado (1/2 fruit, 75g)

  • Cottage Cheese (1/4 cup, 60g)

  • Hot Honey (1 tsp, 7g)

  • Macros: 38g Protein | 25g Carbs | 28g Fat

Dinner 🍗🥔

  • Turkey Breast (100g)

  • Sweet Potato (72g)

  • Ham (52g)

  • Macros: 41g Protein | 16g Carbs | 4g Fat

Snack 🥒🍖

  • Carnivore Bar (1 bar, 45g)

  • Cucumber (1/2 cucumber, 100g)

  • Macros: 12g Protein | 5g Carbs | 4g Fat


Daily Macro Totals:

  • Carbohydrates: 56g

  • Fat: 91g


The heat definitely had me craving lighter movement and more water today—but the early sun, steady meals, and circadian alignment kept energy high and mood lifted. Days like this remind me that wellness isn’t about pushing harder—it’s about staying in rhythm with what your body needs.
