Daily Diary: May 12th – Fueling Family, Flow, and Food Prep ☀️🥩

Today started like many others in our household: prepping lunchboxes for my husband and daughter while the world was still quiet. Once they were packed up and ready to go, I stepped outside for my morning grounding and plant watering ritual—a calming start that lets me sync up with the sun.

Breakfast ☀️

While soaking in the sunrise, I enjoyed a gut-friendly and protein-packed meal:

  • Sausage Links: 150g

  • Asparagus: 90g

  • L. Reuteri Yogurt: 120g

  • Fermented Kimchi: 2 tbsp (30g)

  • Macros: 28g Protein | 6g Carbs | 33g Fat

Mid-Morning: Meal Prep & Mom Duty 🍳📦

While the kiddos played, I dove into this week's meal prep—checking off one big task before lunch even hit. Afterward, it was lunchtime for the littles and for me.

Lunch 🍗🥗

Shared lunch conversation with my son while the other half of the house was at school/work:

  • Chicken Breast: 170g

  • Arugula: 20g

  • Lettuce: 45g

  • Parmesan Cheese: 14g

  • Macros: 39g Protein | 3g Carbs | 10g Fat

Snack Time 🥒

Afternoon fuel kept it light but supportive:

  • Super Chews

  • Cucumber: 100g

  • Macros: 15g Protein | 4g Carbs | 0g Fat

Dinner 🥩🌿

Closed out the day with another nourishing bowl:

  • Leftover Steak: 170g

  • Spring Greens: 55g

  • Macros: 36g Protein | 3g Carbs | 27g Fat


Daily Macro Totals:

  • Protein: 118g

  • Carbohydrates: 16g

  • Fat: 70g


Every bite today was intentional—balancing energy for family life, coaching, and circadian rhythms. I’m continually reminded that health is built in the daily flow, not the occasional highlight.
